New Year’s Client Spotlight: The Lunas!

Happy New Year!

I want to kick off the new year by celebrating another family who are stellar clients and students: The Luna Family!

Tania and Brian Luna operate a sanctuary for farm animals, Scarlet Moon Sanctuary, on their gorgeous property where pigs, goats, chickens, cats, and dogs all romp and thrive together. Over the course of many months, I have had the honor of working with Tania and Brian and their wonderful dogs. The Lunas live a life of kindness, creativity, and love for people and animals alike, and have enriched my life through working with them. They invest in all their animals to ensure they are happy and healthy and their hard work shows! I have had the pleasure of helping Meatball (the meatiest meatball who ever meatballed), Rumble (food thief and begging expert), and Stevie Licks (super model and fast friend) feel more confident and calm in the face of triggers like delivery people, car and truck sounds, visitors coming into the home, and more. Meatball has shown that he can reign in his super excitement and joy and prevent himself from knocking over his friends while still displaying his happiness! Each of these dogs has their own unique way of learning and have succeeded in mastering new behaviors during our sessions. They are absolutely hilarious and incredibly fun to work with! Meatball: the sensitive joyous soul who had a rough start to life, but now hangs out on a super-sized couch with his family while eating pocorn at night. Rumble: likely hit by a car prior to coming into the Luna family, she still has some mobility issues in her hind end, but she DOES NOT let that stop her! She’s a ham! And Stevie, the gentle girl who was saved from a life of being a stray and just melts my heart every time we work together. These very good boys and girls live with their other dog buds, Ripley and Huck, and enjoy a beautiful life. Watching these pups learn continues to be such a pleasure, and my visits with them always leave me laughing and smiling. Here is the evidence in pictures!
